One day Mio attends a middle school reunion and is reunited with her first love, Shuichi. Her love is rekindled when the guy approaches her, but they get caught up in an incident where members of the reunion start dying one after another.

Follows seven boys on their journey of growing up. Although these characters will have the same names as BTS members, they will have fictional narratives with various stories that will be told through metaphors and symbolism. ~~ Adapted from the webtoon "Save me". The series is inspired by BU (BTS Universe). It expand on the storyline fans have seen throughout BTS' music videos and Save Me webtoon.

Togoku Kyosui runs a traditional Japanese style cafe called Rokuhodo. He has a tender voice and hardly ever raises it. He is an honest person with a bright personality. At the cafe Togoku Kyosui works with three other young men. They each wear a kimono and serve drinks, meals and deserts to their customers. These 4 men interact with their customers, who all have their own problems, and provide them with comfort. While performing their jobs, they also face their own problems and grow as a person.

Shun is a galactic civil engineer with a unique assignment: demolishing Earth to make way for a new intergalactic expressway. Naturally, earthlings have no clue of this impending doom. On his first day on earth, Chondan, the owner of a quaint Thai restaurant, enthralls Shun with his mouthwatering homemade dishes. Consequently, Shun secretly postpones his world-ending plan, lured by the promise of more delicious meals with Chondan. If he ever grows tired of the flavours, he can return to his original mission.

Thien Bao and Dinh Huy accidentally met on a blind date when Huy was hired to be the lover of a girl who came to force Bao to refuse the arranged marriage between him and that girl. The meeting seemed like very terribleas as Huy's plan, they thought they would never see each other again. Unfortunately, the CEO of company Huy applied to be an intern was Thien Bao.

Ryouta Natsukawa is starting university and he suddenly finds out that his roommate is going to be his childhood friend, Kazuhito Tanaka. Despite Kazuhito's picture-perfect looks, he doesn't have a girlfriend. Curious as to why this is, Ryouta proposes they go on a "date" to see if he can find any issues women may have with Kazuhito. However, as Ryouta gets to know more about Kazuhito, their relationship changes. Will they just remain friends? Or will their relationship blossom into something more?

Tokyo Friends is a Japanese television drama released on June 3, 2005. Unlike many other dramas, it was never aired on TV but released as a set of 3 DVDs. Volumes one and two contain the first 4 episodes while volume three contains the last episode. Each episode is approximately 70 minutes. The Tokyo Friends Premium Box was also released which includes all 5 episodes, a bonus DVD, and 12 postcards. Although this is a very typical Tokyo-story and was never aired on TV, it was quite successful probably because it was Ai Otsuka's debut as an actress.
