Other characters include a priest who is a sexual deviant, and a trio of corrupt cardinals who secretly run Popetown and attempt to get rich behind the Pope's back. These and other elements caused the show to be extremely controversial.

Father of the Pride is an American animated television series that began broadcasting on NBC on August 31, 2004 and was part of a short-lived trend of CGI series in prime-time network TV. Animated in MS Paint and supposedly voice acted by Japanese forum members, it's a confusing mishmash of Japanese Media Tropes and Gratuitous Japanese.
