Feyda is a man of wealth and has many fine qualities, but he is powerless to resist gambling and beautiful women. Feyda falls instantly in love with Lisa, who is engaged to his dear friend Victor.
An early talkie that was made very much in the style of a silent film, which is sadly very distracting. The dialogue is thin, very predictable and overly dramatic. The story drags on with one scene following predictably after another. One can see why John Gilbert fell out of favour after such a performance, even if not his fault.
