Reviews
An early talkie that was made very much in the style of a silent film, which is sadly very distracting. The dialogue is thin, very predictable and overly dramatic. The story drags on with one scene following predictably after another. One can see why John Gilbert fell out of favour after such a performance, even if not his fault.
