The film tries to capture the feeling of the magnificent surroundings and being at peace on the river. It also delves into topics of conservation of nature and the plans to re-stock the river with native crayfish which vanished from the river. A lot of love went into this film the hope is that it inspires those around the world to find a love for the outdoors and to preserve it for many years to come and just to get out there and fly fish.

Wealthy rancher Bick Benedict and dirt-poor cowboy Jett Rink both woo Leslie Lynnton, a beautiful young woman from Maryland who is new to Texas. From a tragic misunderstanding, the farmer Stathis Karatasos (Angelos Antonopoulos) is accused as the leader of a notorious gang. Arizona Gang Busters is another pre-WWII saber-rattler that finds a band of renegade gunmen, under the pretense of developing an irrigation project for the reclamation of arid desert land, using airplanes and parachute jumpers to gather valuable military information for a European power.

A wagon train of settlers is approaching Prairieville and rancher Allen is out to stop them by having some of his men join the train and poison the horses. When Jack Cameron arrives in Prairieville with replacement horses, he learns his brother who was with the train has been murdered. A piece of his brother's clothing identifies a member of the gang and Jack sets out to find the rest of them and also deliver the horses.

In this western, guns blaze, fists fly, horses run, and justice prevails in the end.
