His wife, Flo, is constantly annoyed by her lazy husband and frequently uses a rolling pin as a weapon.

Bless this house is a British sitcom starring Sid James and Diana Coupland that aired on ITV from the 2nd February 1971 to the 22nd April 1976. It was written by Derek Collyer, David Comming, B.C. Cummins, Harry Driver, George Evans, Dave Freeman, Carla Lane, Brian Platt, Vince Powell, Adele Rose, Mike Sharland, Bernie Sharp, Myra Taylor, Jon Watkins and Lawrie Wyman. It was made for the ITV network by Thames Television. In 2004, Bless this house came 67th in Britain's best sitcom.

Nighty Night is a British dark comedy sitcom written by and starring Julia Davis. It was first broadcast on 6 January 2004 on BBC Three before moving to BBC2. Notorious for its dark humour, the show follows narcissistic sociopath Jill Tyrell – who manages a beauty parlour alongside her moronic, asthmatic assistant Linda – as she learns that her husband has cancer. Popi is an American television series which aired on CBS from January 20, 1976 to August 24, 1976. The show, which ran for eleven episodes, was adapted from the 1969 film of the same name and was one of the first series on American network television to feature a Latino cast and theme. Popi starred actor Hector Elizondo as a Puerto Rican widower and Edith Diaz.
