A Portland taxi dancer is a suspect in a series of murders involving her former customers.

Jonathan, a well-fed ship's cook, and his friend Michael go ashore in an oriental port city after a long sea voyage. They cannot resist the lure of an enticing drug den, where they are mercilessly plied with drink and robbed. They find refuge with the wealthy passenger Hieronymus Walden, who is staying at a luxury hotel. However, the two Bavarians must agree to rescue his granddaughter Kathi, who has disappeared into an oriental harem.

This moniker refers to the bulging-eyed mask worn by the evildoer, and is reflected by the frog icons painfully tatooed onto the forearms of his henchmen. The trail leads to the country manor of an enigmatic, steely-eyed nabob, whose repressed son has eyes for the artistes at the Lolita cabaret, and whose lovely daughter captures the fancy of both the American playboy and the villain himself. All these aspects when combined makes the case sound weird and that grabs the attention of Samrat. Samrat along with his assistant friend, Chakradhar Pandey, visits the huge estate of Mahendra Pratap Singh. As he starts investigating, he discovers lots of mysterious facts.

Newspaper reporter Tim Rourke keeps writing articles that attack the police department for its failure to solve a chain of murders, which nearly leads to the reporter's death. He calls in private detective Michael Shayne, who turns up a blonde and a blackmailer.
