City of Lost Souls

Winnipeg Film Group. Deep in the winter of 1986. Guy Maddin is in the process of filming Tales from the Gimli Hospital and needs to rub a dead seagull on somebody's chest. Immediately, Dave Barber agrees, submitting his bare flesh to Maddin's road kill and to film history. (This film was commissioned by the Winnipeg Film Group's Cinematheque for its 25th anniversary, Silverscope)

The film is about a family that broke up years ago and reunites. Sedat goes to prison for murder. Because of this, he divorces his wife Nevin. Nevin raises their children Ayşe and Murat alone. She tells them that their father is dead. When the children grow up, Nevin begins to struggle financially. Despite still loving her husband, she decides to marry the famous industrialist Orhan, believing that this will allow her children to live more comfortably. Sedat, who spent years in prison working as a musician, is released. He befriends Ayşe, who aspires to become a singer. The growing closeness between Sedat and Ayşe will lead to the revelation of all the truths.

The comedy of three incompetent tough guys.

Martha and Betty have known each other for twenty years and they have decided to breakthrough. The film depicts the struggle between thieves trying to obtain the Green Raca diamond. After being gifted to an English lord from the Raca treasure, the Green Raca diamond has changed hands many times. The diamond has recently ended up in the vault of Adalı Cafer, a notorious figure in the underworld. An organization hires three thieves to seize the diamond. The thieves devise a plan to gain Cafer's attention and infiltrate the mansion. However, the mansion's gardener, Orhan, is also after the diamond.

Fathi and Mohsen are unemployed friends. Mohsen falls in love with Dr. Samia, who offers him a job at her father's farm, but the only condition for the job is that the employee have to be married. Fathi dresses up as a woman and goes with Mohsen to the farm as his wife
