When young computer genius Rudy inherits his father's business his avaricious uncle has him kidnapped and held hostage until the boy signs off all rights to the lucrative enterprise. Not wanting the uncle to control, a pair of corporate executives happen upon a youth who looks just like the missing heir. In hopes of keeping the business afloat, they substitute him at the board meetings.

It has kidnapped Roxane Labelle, a Canadian singer covered gold records and awards. To his captors, no question of release without payment of a large ransom. Father and manager of the star, Paul Labelle asks a small accountant do it. Easier said than done, especially the payer also has a large sum to the Mafia and, rapidly, what Québec account scoundrels, thieves and killers are chasing the fabulous bonanza.

Brothers-in-law, Eduardo and Sabonis, married to sisters Cuca and Peque Ribeiro, have made a real mess of one of their business ventures and are in need of money, a lot of money. It will be Sabonis who, in one of his uncontrollable fits of rage, comes up with a plan to fix all their problems in one go: kidnap Modesto, brother-in-law to Alicia Zamora, the businesswoman who screwed them over. In the end, it will be Modesto himself who comes up with a new plan to help Eduardo and Sabonis get the money they need to save the family wine business. What they don’t know is that police officer Mati, the Ribeiro’s middle sister, is on to their little plan.
