Meanwhile, his daughter develops feelings for a handsome caliph.

Sly, a Jimi-Hendrix styled guitarist, is hired to take care of the rats with his musical abilities, and is promised a Harley Davidson from the mayor as payment. When he gets cheated out of his payment, he then uses his music to lead the kids to a mountain.

In the Swedish city of Lethe, people from different walks of life take part in a series of short, deadpan vignettes that rush past. Some are just seconds long, none longer than a couple of minutes. A young woman remembers a fantasy honeymoon with a rock guitarist. A man awakes from a dream about bomber planes. A businessman boasts about success while being robbed by a pickpocket, and so on. The absurdist collection is accompanied by Dixieland jazz and similar music.

I followed the everyday lives of Ali, Kais, Ertan and Alban with my camera for over two years. The time was characterized by disappointments, conflicts and also great successes. It all began with a visit to the "Klingelpütz" youth center in the middle of Cologne. Young migrants have been meeting here for many years.

Meanwhile, Kuifje and Bobbie arrive on the train at Molensloot, and Kuifje talks to another traveller about the recent return of the expedition from Peru. He says that all will end badly, desecrating the burial chambers of the Incas like Tutankhamen's – five members of the expedition have already been mysteriously struck down.
