In this spin-off of the Saturday Night Live TV Funhouse cartoons, happy-go-lucky Doug hosts a children's show in the vein of Pee-wee's Playhouse, wherein he chooses a theme for the day (Caveman Day, Western Day, Spaceman Day, Mexicans Day, etc.) and encourages his puppet friends, the Anipals, to participate. Of course, the depraved felt animals are far more interested in other activities, including going to a cockfight, visiting a bordello, becoming lab tests, and even getting (literally) high on Christmas cheer!

The Annoying Orange is a comedic web series featuring an anthropomorphic orange who persistently irritates other food characters through puns, loud commentary, and relentless jokes. These interactions often lead to exaggerated or grim outcomes. Created by Dane Boedigheimer, the series combines live-action footage with animation, using real fruits overlaid with human facial features. It debuted on YouTube and gained widespread popularity, eventually expanding into television and consumer products.

Its story is set in Aikatsu Planet, a world where everyone can become cute idols using an avatar. While spending school life, the main characters are aiming to become top idols. Everyday parts such as the main character's school life will be filmed in live-action, and the Aikatsu Planet! world will be drawn in anime and 3DCG (like the previous series). The live-action part's cast members will form a unit "STARRY PLANET*" and perform as idols at events and on YouTube. A new Data Carddass game linked to the TV series, "Data Carddass Aikatsu Planet!" is also scheduled to begin its service this winter.
