An interesting film out of Chad. There isn't much 'meat on the bones', so to speak, as it kinda meanders through its 90 or so minute run time, but it without a doubt holds interest as it portrays a fictionalized version of director Mahamat-Saleh Haroun's journey. Haroun also stars and does do well, as do a few of the others - namely Aïcha Yelena. It is a pleasant enough watch and a respectable effort, just not one I'd wanna revisit in search of entertainment in a hurry. Definitely some noteworthy points in there though, specifically when it comes to film distribution out of parts of Africa - which kinda still holds up today, unfortunately.
