When a lockdown is announced in India, 22-year-old Mahesh finds himself stranded and decides to travel home on a rickety bicycle. He covers about 2,000 kilometers in seven days. It turns him into a national media hype.

As far as he can remember Harinarain Singh alias Hariya has no knowledge of his birth, parents nor of a family home. During a skirmish with some of Thakur Balram Singh's hoodlums, he lies unconscious at the entrance of a temple with the Poojary in attendance, and an elderly unhinged woman praying to God for his sake. When he wakes, the Poojary tells him that the woman, known as "Pagli" (madwoman) is his very own mother, his father was a farmer, Ram Singh, who died of shock when his land was taken away by Balram and his men. Shortly thereafter Pagli passes away, and Hariya swears to take back his land from Balram. A wily Balram transfer this land in his nephew, Balraj's name, who is known to be a close friend of Hariya's with hopes of creating a misunderstanding between the two friends. When Balraj returns home he accepts this land from his uncle and decides to oppose Hariya with all his might, especially when he finds out that the love of his life, Sharda, is living with Hariya.

After World War II, Antonia and her daughter, Danielle, go back to their Dutch hometown, where Antonia's late mother has bestowed a small farm upon her. There, Antonia settles down and joins a tightly-knit but unusual community. Those around her include quirky friend Crooked Finger, would-be suitor Bas and, eventually for Antonia, a granddaughter and great-granddaughter who help create a strong family of empowered women.

Kerala-based George Nair is an efficiency expert who travels to Pune to provide a report on downsizing. He is met with the firm's Vice-President, Malathy Chandran, and must come up with a plan to let go a number of employees. Both spend time together and Malathy confides how she had exchanged matrimonial correspondence with another male from Kerala, while George describes his family, his Hindu mother and Christian father, and his elder brother who has been missing for two months. Neither are aware that George's brother, and the male that Malathy refers to, is one and the same. Will they find out his whereabouts?

Multi-millionaire Balwant Rai is a widower who lives with his daughter Uma and a school going son Amar alias Munna. Since Uma is of marriage-able age, Balwant decides to get her marry to Sunderlall's son Raghuveer and they all move in to live with Balwant at his estate. In order to take cover of Balwant's entire property Sunderlall and Raghuveer first have him killed, locked up Uma in a den and attempt to kill Munna who is saved by a village boy named Mangal. Years later Mangal and Munna have now matured, and Munna has decided to make his friend Mangal the managing director of the entire Rai group of industries much to the disappointment of Sunderlall who has all time been the M.D of Rai industries.

A couple of high school graduates spend one final night cruising the strip with their buddies before they go off to college.

Widowed Dinanath Kumar lives a poor lifestyle in Poona with two sons, Rajeev & Sanjeev; daughter, Payal; and widowed sister, Kalawanti. He has great hopes for Rajeev who he has got educated, but is very disappointed with Sanjeev, who works as a Garage Mechanic with Tahir Khan, and is always disruptive and in trouble. Matters rise to such an extend that the Police arrest Sanjeev for setting fire to the house of Premnath and nearly killing him.
