Coal was an American reality television series on Spike. The series debuted on March 30, 2011. The series portrayed the real life events on a coal mine in Westchester, West Virginia, and the inherent dangers involved. The series was later premiered in the UK on November 8, 2011, via the Discovery Channel UK. It featured owner Mike Crowder along with several employees involved in the mining operation.

The story based on a novel by Colleen McCullough focuses on three generations of the Cleary family living on a sheep station in the Australian outback.

Ghost Mine is an American paranormal television series that premiered on January 16, 2013 in the United States on Syfy channel. The series features a group of hard rock miners searching for gold in Oregon's Crescent Mine. Two paranormal investigators accompany them in an attempt to determine if the location is haunted. On April 10, 2013, Syfy renewed the series for a 12 episode second season, set to premiere September 4, 2013.

When an oil rig causes an eruption in a small town, it's just the first in a series that could affect the dangerous Ring of Fire that contains most of the world's volcanoes. If these cataclysmic eruptions cannot be stopped, the Earth could be headed for an extinction level event.

After Japan's economic bubble burst the country slowly recovered, but dirty politicians still make deals with dirty businessmen so that they can both profit from the hard work of others. Keiichi Suzuki, head of Ōshika Construction, and Seijiro Matsuzaka, one of the members of parliament, have a deal going on that allows Ōshika Construction to use fewer materials in their projects while still letting their buildings get approved for business use. Unfortunately for them, the Government Crime Investigation Agency, the Japanese government-approved but independently-run equivalent to the FBI, is already on the move. Jotaro Zaizen, a long-thought-dead police officer, is the agent on the Ōshika case and gathers a group of people who have reasons to fight Suzuki and Matsuzaka. To help combat the GCIA, though, Suzuki hires the Haoukokuryu-kai, a yakuza group.

Growing up, Lolong developed an affinity with animals, thanks to his parents, Gloria and Raul. They introduced him to a gigantic crocodile named Dakila, who eventually became his friend. Unfortunately, the town’s mayor made it his crusade to kill all crocodiles in their town. Lolong’s parents were murdered when they attempted to save Dakila from the mayor’s orders.  After his parent’s murders, Lolong is raised by loving foster parents. He keeps his friendship with Dakila secret and longs to avenge his parent’s deaths. In the meantime, Lolong notices peculiar changes happening to himself. He notices that when he gets hurt, his wounds can heal instantly. He discovers that Karina, the town’s seamstress, possesses the same ability. Karina then tells Lolong that he was a member of a tribe that possessed the power to regenerate, just like crocodiles do. With the help of Dakila, Lolong battles an evil system in order to bring justice and peace to himself and to the townspeople.
