In this companion piece and sequel to "Yojimbo," jaded samurai Sanjuro helps an idealistic group of young warriors weed out their clan's evil influences, and in the process turns their image of a proper samurai on its ear.

Juliette is frantically running away from a man when a car hits her. Lying in the street, semiconscious and stunned, she commences counting. She knows that if no one helps her by the time she reaches 100, something terrible will happen.

The story of Elwood P. Dowd who makes friends with a spirit taking the form of a human-sized rabbit named Harvey that only he sees (and a few privileged others on occasion also.) After his sister tries to commit him to a mental institution, a comedy of errors ensues. Elwood and Harvey become the catalysts for a family mending its wounds and for romance blossoming in unexpected places.

But when he finds himself torn between his longtime love and the widow of one of his victims, his plans go awry.
