Seven Short Films About (Our) Marriage tells a story of raw authenticity in seven episodes spanning fourteen years of their marriage as they reckon with racism, career challenges, medical issues, and more.

Scales is a tense, claustrophobic drama that spends one evening with four characters, who are trapped in a combustable boiling pot of an apartment. American boxer, Darnell, his PR manager and girlfriend, Maria, troubled entrepreneur Adam and drug dealer Keith are forced to question their relationships and loyalties, as sinister secrets come to the fore, threatening dangerous consequences. Unsettling and unexpected, this dark tale of lies and manipulation will lead audiences on a voyeuristic and ill-fated journey that, like the four characters, their sensibility may not want to be a part of, but their curiosity certainly will, begging the question: 'How do you weigh trust?'

When former boxer and ex-con Andre Johnson discovers that his health is failing, he returns home to rebuild the life he left behind but gets an opportunity to build a future and a family.

An honest boxer refuses to throw a fight for a gambler. They get into a fight and the boxer knocks the gambler out. Thinking he's killed him and believing that the police are after him, the horrified boxer runs off and takes to the road, promising never to box again. However, one day he comes upon a small but scrappy young kid who has the potential to be a champion. The former boxer takes the kid under his wing and trains him, but the kid's ensuing success starts to go to his head. Pretty soon he finds himself mixed up with gamblers, too.
