For one of the longest-running game franchises in history, Street Fighter creators Capcom needed something exceedingly special to accompany the release of their 25th anniversary edition of the game. AREA 5 produced, shot, edited, and finished a documentary that spans three countries, more than two decades, and tells the story of how a game not only birthed an entire genre, but changed the lives of a generation.

FLYIN' CUT SLEEVES, completed in 1993, portrays street gang presidents in the Bronx. Their world was the streets, set against a backdrop of uprooted families, cultural alienation, drugs and violence. Neighborhood teenagers responded by organizing into street groups known to the members as "families", but labeled in the most alarming terms as violent gangs by the press. The documentation of these lives over a twenty-year period offers a remarkable perspective on life in the ghetto (spanning four generations), and the means that people devise to cope from the time that they are children to when they serve as parents and role models for a new generation.

This DVD covers all works from the original Street Fighter to Street Fighter III 3rd Strike: Fight for the Future. The contents that explain each work include not only the full recording of the advertisement videos, but also a complete description of the system description and basic techniques of game, the techniques that were popular at the time, and the super fan material related to the series.

All towns in the world have legendary bars and drinking places. Tiny Valli Bar in Tallinn links different times and people and the film is a portrait of Estonian drinking scene. Shooting months turned out jolly, but also dramatic. One of the participants was kicked out of home, two died soon after the filming. Drinking was definitely part in all that.
