Momotaro's Sky Adventure

Having crept into a tent, a young girl steps out of it grown and strangely dressed as a bunny rabbit. An inner journey through which the young woman tries to understand the drama at the root of all her suffering.

In a dystopian world, a girl breaks her ceramic pot, which holds a secret within. The breaking of the pot opens portals to a parallel universe and the girl enters a time of transformation in which the creation of a new world is finally possible.

Floating in nothingness without direction or purpose. Existence at bay either in a physical space or a mental prison. Like a fish out of water or whale in a tank. What it means to fear support, accepting it with the risk of vulnerability and the ability to be empathic towards others even if they lack the tools to help escape out of your own prison. „Adrift“ distills those feelings while simultaneously dealing with the immensely frustrating reality of large sentient animals held in captivity for our own amusement. Dive in but don’t forget to come back up to inhale the air.

Set in a world of only two dimensions inhabited by sentient geometric shapes, the story follows Arthur Square and his ever-curious granddaughter Hex. In a sterile white examination room, a young woman is asked by a doctor to undress completely. An exhaustive examination of the protagonist’s skin begins during which every centimetre, the palm of her hand, the sole of her foot, the back and also the genital area are closely scrutinised. The doctor meticulously probes every nook and cranny of the young woman’s outer shell until she is able to identify a suspicious birthmark. A timely appointment to remove the mole is made.

The OceanMaker is a 9-minute animated short film that takes place after Earth's oceans have disappeared. It tells the tale of one courageous pilot who fights against vicious sky pirates for control of the last remaining source of water: the clouds.
