Band-Maid concert recorded at Tokyo Garden Theater on January 9 2023, as part of the 10th anniversary tour.

The story of the making of this remarkable album is told here via exclusive interviews with band members James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett and Jason Newsted, archive footage and performance, and contributions from producer Bob Rock. We revisit the original multi-tracks of the album, as well as listen to previously unheard demo recordings. This year the festival had chartered their own plane from London to bring the coolest bands in Britain to Sweden, which prompted television personality Henrik Schyffert to quip "If this plane crashes the hottest band in England will be Marillion"

KISS have always had an approach to their fans that on the one hand could be seen as ridiculously crass and on the other as truly generous. There's much more to the heavy metal group Cinderella than big hair -- although the band members' coifs are one of the first things you'll notice in this retrospective compilation of their greatest video hits. Selections include "Don't Know What You Got (Till It's Gone)," "Gypsy Road," "Nobody's Fool," "Coming Home," "Heartbreak Station," "Shelter Me," "The Last Mile" and "The More Things Change."

The Wilson sisters (1980s glam rockers with such hits as "Alone" and "These Dreams") make a triumphant return to their hometown of Seattle. The city, oddly enough, spawned the grunge movement in the early '90s and killed off many of the '80s metal bands. A career-spanning selection of material in this concert includes early classics such as "Barracuda" and "Crazy on You," alongside more recent material.

KISS fans have been largely divided into two camps. On one side you've got the purists who are fans of the original line up (Paul, Gene, Ace, and Peter), and may or may not tolerate any of the other line-ups (and if they do tolerate any of the other line-ups, they always preface any conversation with, "Of course, the original line-up is the only REAL KISS"). On the other side you've got the fans who want the best available players to play alongside Paul and Gene. They weren't really happy when the Reunion happened back in '96 as the Revenge line-up was incredibly strong and vibrant musically.

Kiss Unplugged is a Kiss album featuring the group performance in MTV Unplugged. On August 9, 1995, hard rock band Kiss performed on MTV Unplugged in what fans consider the beginning of the eventual Kiss Reunion Tour. Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons contacted former members Peter Criss and Ace Frehley and invited them to participate in the event. Fan reaction to Criss and Frehley at the Unplugged show was so positive that, in 1996, the original lineup of Kiss reunited, with all four original members together for the first time since 1980. It also marked the only time the original lineup performed live without their trademark makeup, other than at Ace Frehley's wedding, and was also the only time Frehley and Criss shared a stage with Eric Singer and Bruce Kulick. Further, it was the first time Eric Singer had part of a lead vocal (shared with Peter Criss on Nothin' To Lose).

Rock Goes To College (RGTC) was a BBC series that ran between 1978 and 1981 on British television. A variety of up-coming rock oriented bands were showcased live from small venues and broadcast simultaneously on television and radio. Affectionate but honest portrait of Thin Lizzy, arguably the best hard rock band to come out of Ireland. Starting with the remix of the classic album Jailbreak by Scott Gorham and Brian Downie, the film takes us through the rollercoaster ride that is the story of Thin Lizzy. From early footage of singer Phil Lynott in Ireland in his pre-Lizzy bands the Black Eagles and Orphanage, it follows his progress as he, guitarist Eric Bell and drummer Brian Downie form the basic three-piece that was to become Thin Lizzy - a name taken from the Beano. Using original interviews with Bell, Downie, the man who signed them and their first manager, it traces the early years leading to the recruitment of guitarists Brian 'Robbo' Robertson and Scott Gorham - the classic line-up. The film uses a number of stills, some seen on TV for the first time, archive from contemporary TV shows and a range of tracks both well known and not so famous.
