The documentary includes interviews with his band members and many celebrity musicians who have been influenced by James Brown, including Patti Labelle, Chuck D (Public Enemy), Doug E Fresh, Emcee Lyte, Bobby Brown, Fergie, Wil.I.Am.

Persona Livehouse Tour 2015 was a concert tour that were held on three different cities: Osaka, Nagoya and Tokyo. The Tokyo concert was chosen to be live broadcasted simultaneously at 28 movie theatres accross Japan. American rock band Halestorm closed out its "Back from the Dead" world tour in December 2023 with a sold-out show at London's OVO Arena Wembley. Frontwoman Lzzy Hale called it a "right of passage" and "huge milestone." The band surprised fans by announcing a live album and this concert film in May 2024, a week before their release.

Minor Threat played one of its last shows at Washington DC's 930 Club in June of 1983; they would only play once more in DC. Two years later, the tapes from the 930 show were edited together and Dischord Records released them as the Minor Threat Live VHS video in 1986. Along with the 40 minute 930 performance, the DVD includes a 1982 Minor Threat show in Camden, NJ, a clip of Minor Threat's 2nd ever show at DC Space in December 1980, and excerpts from a 1983 interview with vocalist, Ian MacKaye.

Recorded during a series of concerts at The Hague in early May 1991, this show is from 10 May and served as a benefit gig for Kurd Aid. It isn't a full length performance of course, but still remains interesting. Several of the performances were released as live b-sides on 'Ten Summoner's Tales' era singles. Perhaps of most interest is the live version of Hendrix's 'Purple Haze', a rip-roaring crowd favourite from that tour.
