The Mannequin

A stylist assistant investigates her sister's death in a historic LA building, only to face a vengeful ghost of a serial killer who dismembered victims decades ago. She must escape before she's next.

I had higher hopes This movie had a great deal of hype and I was looking forward to it, but it was just very formulaic and dull. The scares were easy, the twist boring, and the characters, while engaging, not ultimately particularly memorable. The movie had nothing for me to grab on to and enjoy, and I will have forgotten it in a few weeks. Technically, it is a very proficient film, and I am sure the makers had a lot to say with it, but their delivery was poorly executed, and thus the movie wasn't enjoyable.
