So You Think You Can Dance Australia

The ultimate sixteen-week job interview where eighteen Americans compete in a series of rigorous business tasks, many of which include prominent Fortune 500 companies and require street smarts and intelligence to conquer, in order to show the boss that they are the best candidate for his companies. In each episode, the losing team is sent to the boardroom where they are judged on their performance in the task. One person is fired and sent home.

Each year, hopeful singers from all over the country audition to be part of one of the biggest shows in American television history. Who will become the new American Idol?

So You Think You Can Dance - The Next Generation is a dance competition show on Dutch television RTL 5. It is the youth spin-off version of the internationally franchised reality competition TV show So You Think You Can Dance. Only children get to participate as contestants. Unlike the adult Dutch language version of So You Think You Can Dance this junior spin-off is not a joint Belgian-Dutch venture.

Hosted by Marie-Ève ​​Janvier and Joël Legendre, the competition welcomes 10 amateur pastry chefs, only one of whom will walk away with the title of Best Pastry Chef in Quebec. Each episode, the candidates will compete in culinary prowess and take on different colorful challenges in order to impress the judges and renowned professional pastry chefs, Gaël Vidricaire and Joël Lahon.

A flavourful journey to find the top chef, facing ten challenges across nine provinces.

Four super-talented and fiercely competitive singers, chosen from their auditions by the show’s panel of music industry experts, will try to defend their coveted spots on the stage, as they are challenged individually by new singers determined to replace them.

This culinary competition gives cooking enthusiasts the opportunity to face off against a professional chef. Martin Juneau and Danny St-Pierre try to defend their profession’s honour by taking on amateur chefs. Every week, participants band together to try to beat one of the two chefs.

Competitors who have made it to the finals of The Challenge kick it up a notch as they face off with celebrities for new prizes.

Students from rival colleges compete in the ultimate academic challenge, where teams are tested on a variety of subjects in a tournament with $1 million in scholarships on the line.

Lin Xi Chi is a college student majoring in veterinary medicine. She is well-liked and known for being bright and cheerful, although, on the inside, she is more insecure than she would like to let on. Also attending the same university is her childhood friend, avid archer, and national defense student Xu Fang. He has had a crush on Lin XI Chi since they were both at school but has never plucked up enough courage to let her know. Although he can be quick-tempered with others, he always treats Lin Xi Chi with great tenderness.

The Games is a British reality television series that ran on Channel 4 for four series, in which 10 celebrities competed against each other, by doing Olympic-style events, such as weight lifting, gymnastics and diving. At the end of the series, the contestants with the most points from each round were awarded either a gold, silver or bronze medal. The show was mainly filmed in Sheffield, at the Sheffield Arena, Don Valley Stadium and Ponds Forge. In later series, the English Institute of Sport – Sheffield, iceSheffield and in series 4 the National Watersports Centre in Nottingham were used for the first time. The Games was presented by Jamie Theakston for the entirety of its run, with track-side reports from Jayne Middlemiss in series 1–3 and Kirsty Gallacher in series 4. The Games also had an after-show called The Games: Live at Trackside, aired on Channel 4's sister channel E4. The first series was presented by Dougie Anderson, whilst the second was hosted by Gamezville presenters Darren Malcolm and Jamie Atiko. Justin Lee Collins and Caroline Flack took over as presenters for the third and fourth series. For the final series an extra one-hour show was added on E4 in the afternoon called The Games: Live at the Heats, and the evening show changed title to become The Games: Inside Track.
