To be honest, my patience for witnessing the inhumanity of fascists, whether in the news or in the movies or in the Bible/Quran/whatever, is wearing thinner daily. When you realize that once upon a time, Iran was not only secular in its governing, but also a beacon of knowledge, science, and art, it just makes this film even more heartbreaking. The saving grace for me was an excellent story, directing and acting.
