The Client is an American television series that aired on CBS from September 18, 1995 to August 16, 1996. The series was based on the 1994 film The Client, itself adapted from the 1993 John Grisham novel also of the same name.

When insurance salesman and family man Michael Wiseman is killed in a subway accident, the U.S. government preserves his brain and puts it into a new, genetically bio-engineered body that's young, attractive, and can do anything a superhero can do. Is It Legal? is a British television sitcom set in a solicitors office in Hounslow, west London, which ran from 1995 to 1998. It was produced by Hartswood Films and was shown on ITV for Series 1-2 and Channel 4 for Series 3. It was written by Simon Nye, who also wrote other ITV sitcoms such as Men Behaving Badly and Hardware.

The series revolves around a fictional Hong Kong senior counsel named Tony Cheung. Senior Counsel Cheung is well known for winning 31 legal cases in a row but is also notorious in legal circles for his unsavoury (but ethical) tactics. His focus on his legal career has also alienated family members and anyone romantically involved. When his colleague gets involved with an unscrupulous businessman, he begins to rediscover the lost idealism and righteousness of his youth.

Luo Bing is a senior partner at Panorama Law Firm. He is a lawyer who cares only about winning cases. Dai Xi goes to his law firm to argue with him about her best friend's lawsuit and by chance becomes his assistant. At first, they don't get along, but soon they begin to understand each other and Dai Xi's respect for Luo Bing grows. Luo Bing also inherits some of Dai Xi's empathy for others and learns that practicing law is more than just winning. They both grow and become reliable partners in law.

Lawyer-by-day Matt Murdock uses his heightened senses from being blinded as a young boy to fight crime at night on the streets of Hell’s Kitchen as Daredevil.

It examines people and how they relate to one another and use body weight as an excuse for all sorts of failings in their relationships, or not living their lives to the full. Four cast members—Ruth Jones, James Corden, Sheridan Smith, and Alison Steadman—went on to appear in Gavin & Stacey.

Courting Alex is an American sitcom that aired on CBS from January 23, 2006 to March 29, 2006, and was a vehicle for Jenna Elfman of Dharma & Greg fame. Elfman portrays Alex Rose, a successful, single attorney who works with her father Bill at his law firm. Alex struggles with dating while looking for love in a big city. Her father wants her to settle down with her coworker Stephen, a star lawyer at the firm who is smitten with her. She prefers Scott, the tavern owner she meets in the first episode, who her father doesn't approve of. Alex relies on the advice of her assistant Molly and British neighbor Julian. Comedian Wayne Federman has a recurring role as office sycophant, Johnson.

Rex Is Not Your Lawyer was a proposed legal drama from actor Andrew Leeds and novelist David Lampson. A pilot was shot in December 2009, starring David Tennant, Jerry O'Connell, Abigail Spencer, Jane Curtin and Jeffrey Tambor, but was not picked up, and the project was shelved.

The Return of Iljimae is a 2009 South Korean historical action television series, starring Jung Il-woo in the title role of Iljimae, Yoon Jin-seo, Kim Min-jong and Jung Hye-young. It aired on MBC from January 21 to April 9, 2009 on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 21:55 for 24 episodes. The series is based on comic strip Iljimae, published between 1975 and 1977, by Ko Woo-yung which was based on a Chinese folklore from the Ming dynasty about a masked Robin Hood-esque character during the Joseon era. MBC bought the rights to the comic strip for their adaptation, which was to star Lee Seung-gi in the title role of Iljimae. However he pulled out and was replaced by Jung, which makes him the third Korean actor to play the hero following Jang Dong-gun and Lee Joon-gi for Iljimae.
