The Rory Story

The story of a boy made of trash, built by his creator Gordon Grott as a surrogate for his estranged son. When Scraps comes to life one day and sees what a perfect family looks like, he decides to try and bond with the only father figure he has.

Young Ondra has asthma and so his parents throw away his favourite toy: a musty old stuffed bear named Kooky. That night Ondra dreams that Kooky is determined to find his way back home from the dump. In the boy's fantasy, the bear gets lost in a forest occupied by strange animals and remarkable beings that he never heard of while living on the toy shelf in Ondra's room. And of course even in this small imaginary world, true good exists as does real evil, which Kooky must face up to in order to become a real hero.

Peer Gynt grew up a handsome guy, girls peered at him, and he dreamed of becoming a king and getting rich. He went to the wedding and there he saw the girl Solveig. Peer got drunk, quarreled with the guests and went into the mountains, where he met a troll maiden. Peer wanted to marry her and become a king, but the troll king explained that for this you need to become a troll and live according to their customs. Peer managed to escape, and he sailed on the ship. For many years he swam and accumulated wealth. And when he returned to his native coast in a storm, the ship sank with all the load.

A boy's dog has run off and, with the help of unfortunately named marionette Handy, the kid learns to use a telephone to find him.

Kermit is being awarded the Frog of the Year Award, presented by Grover. Grover first recites a long poem about frogs, which introduces various Kermit the Frog segments from Sesame Street, while being interrupted by the Three Little Pigs, who are there because Kermit introduced them twice on Sesame Street News.
