At dawn, in a mismatched architectural megalopolis, we enter into the intimacy of three people: A tormented YOUNG WOMAN, a STREET MAN and an OLD LADY. We go through with them what we experience on a daily basis: Waking. Within this moment of solitude and small daily gestures, we discover the simple pleasures of awakening the senses that pushes them out of bed.

Anna wants to share her chocolate cake with her friend and ends up living an adventure through the forest, where the terrible bearded giant is the new inhabitant. In fact, all the animals that she meets are disappearing. Does the giant need company?

The Hungry Squid is 2002 animated short film by John Weldon, about a young girl whose homework and personal life is being disrupted by creatures, including a giant ravenous squid.[1] The film was animated using Weldon's personal style of do-it-yourself filmmaking, combining low-budget computer animation with puppets, photos and stop-motion animation in a technique he calls "digital recyclomation."
