La Voz is a Spanish reality talent show that premiered on 19 September 2012 on Telecinco. It is part of the international syndication The Voice based on the original Dutch television program The Voice of Holland, created by Dutch television producer John de Mol. One of the important premises of the show is the quality of the singing talent. Four coaches, themselves popular performing artists, train the talents in their group and occasionally perform with them. Talents are selected in blind auditions, where the coaches cannot see, but only hear the audition. The series is hosted by Jesús Vázquez, with Tania Llasera as social media correspondent. The original judging panel consisted of David Bisbal, Rosario Flores, Malú and Melendi as the four coaches. In the second season, Antonio Orozco replaced Melendi.

The Voice Kids is a Russian reality television singing competition broadcast on Channel One. Based on the original The Voice Kids of Holland, the concept of the series is to find currently unsigned singing talent contested by aspiring singers, age 6 to 15, drawn from public auditions.

The Eurovision Song Contest is an international song competition, organised annually by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and featuring participants representing primarily European countries. Each participating country submits an original song to be performed on live television and radio, transmitted to national broadcasters via the EBU's Eurovision and Euroradio networks, with competing countries then casting votes for the other countries' songs to determine the winner.

The Voice is a reality television series that features four coaches looking for a talented new artist, who could become a global superstar. The show's concept is indicated by its title: the coaches do not judge the artists by their looks, personalities, stage presence, or dance routines, only their vocal ability. It is this aspect that differentiates The Voice from other reality television series such as The X Factor, Britain's Got Talent or even Must Be the Music. In the Blind auditions, the competitors are split into four teams, which are mentored by the coaches. If a coach likes what they hear, a button-press allows their chair to spin around and face the performer, signifying that they would like to mentor them. If more than one does so, then the artist selects a coach. However, if no coach turns around then the artist is sent home. There are five different stages: producers' auditions, blind auditions, battles, knockouts, and live shows.

The first season of Sweden's Idol premiered in August 2004 and continued until its grand finale on 26 November. It is a spin off of Britain's Pop Idol.

“V-1” is a vocal survival show that seeks to find the best vocalist amongst active girl groups in Korea. From main vocalists who are already known for their talents to hidden gems who are ready to blow people away, 12 idols have gathered to take on the title of “Vocal Queen.” Of 86 idols who applied for the show, GWSN’s Seoryeong, gugudan’s Nayoung, DIA’s Jueun, DreamCatcher’s Siyeon, Venus’s Jeong Da Kyung, SONAMOO’s High.D, APRIL’s Jinsol, WJSN’s Yeonjung, Weki Meki’s Sooyeon and Choi Yoojung, and Cherry Bullet’s Hayeoon and Bora will advance to the main competition. Putting everything on the line, they are full of determination to win as they put their talents to the test.
