In Depression-era West Virginia, a serial-killing preacher hunts two young children who know the whereabouts of a stash of money.

Karthikeyan, a liquor baron, sets out to take back his ancestral house which was usurped by Shekharan. To seek revenge, Karthikeyan abducts Shekharan's daughter and ends up falling in love with her.

Maradonna (Shanthnoo) is an aimless youngster who likes to waste his time doing practically nothing other than fooling around. For him everything in life is Oru Rasam (just fun). The film, in Malayalam and made by the Indian film maker K P Kumaran, AkashaGopuram is set among the Indian immigrant community in London and tells the story of Albert Samson (Mohanlal), a middle-aged architect who has clawed his way to prominence.
