Česko hledá SuperStar is the Czech version of Idol series. It is broadcast on Czech TV Nova, first series in spring 2004, the second a year later, the third series in autumn 2006. The show was very popular in 2004, with an audience of more than 3.5 million people; other media attention was also huge. The further series' rating was rather lower. In 2008, the program was superseded by the X Factor. However, Czech broadcaster TV Nova and broadcaster of Slovak version of Idol TV Markíza confirmed that both versions will be joined into one federal. The latest version is called Česko Slovenská Superstar, which started in September 2009.

China's Got Talent is a Chinese reality television series on Dragon TV and a part of the Got Talent franchise, hosted by Cheng Lei. It is a talent show that features all different kinds of performances of all ages competing for performing contract with Fremantle Media and Sony Music Entertainment. The show is a joint production between FremantleMedia, Shanghai Media Group, Radio and TV Shanghai and Syco. On January 17, 2011, DragonTV announced that series 2 of the show has been launched. DragonTV also announced that there will be two series of the show in 2011.

In that episode, Carmen Masola's talent was discovered. The first episode was seen by 5,3 million people. After this episode, Mediaset decided to renew this show with a full-length season. The first season started on April 12, 2010 with a high ratings and continued broadcasting. Maria De Filippi, Gerry Scotti and Rudy Zerbi are the three judges. Talents are competing for €100,000.
