Speak To Me Of What I Know is a short experimental film shot on a Super8. The idea of lack of communication is expressed through an intimate relationship, more specifically the men of the film. The themes of miscommunication develop throughout the film in many ways, even the slightest details are there with the explicit goal of adding to the main message. Pay attention to as much as you can, and build your idea of what it's all about. It remains up to interpretation.

Jack, is a young man adjusting to a life of solitude after the passing of a longtime lover. He goes about his daily life in a state of limbo where every day feels like the rest. Throughout the film, he discusses his condition with his therapist Dr. Laurence. With her help, Jack hopes to put his past behind him and move on even if it means he must leave a piece of him behind.

An artist is so consumed with painting a portrait of the women he loves that he doesn't notice she is dying until it's too late. Shot as a silent film.

An insoluble quest.

The Feminine and Masculine personalities of a man begin to argue about the former coming out, forcing the latter to be more vulnerable about who they are and where they stand.

A twelve-year-old Michal was born with a cleft lip. He feels inadequate because of his deformed face. A misunderstood and isolated transgender teenager takes revenge upon his unaccepting parents. A powerful supernatural entity known as the Bug God contacts him to help him do the deed. A mysterious organization produces a largely fictitious made-for-TV docudrama on the subject.

“Never Me” is a student film about Serafina, a 16-year-old girl who endures the tribulations of attempting to receive an abortion in her home state of Texas after the overturn of Roe v. Wade. The story explores the importance of friendship and family as they journey through love and loss. Serafina treks a narrow path, but in the end became closer to those who matter most and gained a newfound respect for adulthood.

The story focuses on two men who get locked in a pub over night and the hilarity that ensues.

After all, what if we should answer our existential questions ourselves instead of trying to find answers from others?

Infinity was made apart of an independent study at Ohio University. Every person who worked on this film, aside from one of our actors, is a student at Ohio University and has worked on bringing this story to life since October 2022. Set in 2016, Infinity follows the story of two drastically different teenage girls who experience the pressures of growing up and falling in love far too fast. This film is the broad outline for a much larger story, one we hope to continue in the future if given the opportunity!
