The series' guide, Petra Mede, and architecture experts Gert Wingårdh and Mark Isitt take us on a journey through time, starting 100 years ago and continuing 100 years into the future. Come along to the village street, the big city, the industrial town, the countryside, the dream cottage, the suburbs, the city center, and the village!

The program follows the two presenters as they "live" in a certain time period. They dress up in period accurate clothes, and live life as you would in that certain time period with a large emphasis on the food. Each program features a guest chef who prepares period accurate food.
