After Clown Teddy lost his son, he lost his gift for laughter. He opened a joke shop and lives above the shop. His landlady has had a foster son since birth, and Teddy decides to raise the child, who always believed that Teddy was his father. When the mother suddenly appears five years later and wants her son, Teddy decides to run away with the child and goes back onstage with his son. Will the family catch up with them, or will the mother never get her son back?

1907 Central America: Maria II is the daughter of an Irish terrorist. Charles Duchemin, a well-known gourmet and publisher of a famous restaurant guide, is waging a war against fast food entrepreneur Tri- catel to save the French art of cooking. A renowned circus dog is the only one left behind after her traveling show leaves town. In a stroke of luck, she is found by Billy, a kid from the city who has just moved to town, and he takes her to live at a farm among a quirky cast of farm animals.
