In a Top of the Pops-free-zone, these are the surprising songs and rare performances that aren't seen every day, taken from shows that may have been forgotten - but that definitely deserve to see daylight once again.

Arcade Fire released their live film recording 'Live at Earls Court,' in 2015. It was recorded during the band's shows at Earl's Court in London, during the Reflektor Tour in 2014 and it features some of the most fan-appreciated tracks.

Featuring almost 2 hours of Eagles live performances recorded during 1973 and 1974, in the first stage of the band's career. Kicking off with a lengthy set the group played at Holland's Popgala Festival on March 10th 1973, a one-off gig the Eagles gave in Europe that spring. The following year they performed in front of the cameras for Don Kirshner's Rock Concert programme, recorded in LA on 19/07/74, a show for which they were joined by old friends Linda Ronstadt and Jackson Browne for a few numbers. The super guitarist Masayoshi Takanaka turns 70 and returns to Katsushika for the first time in four years!! In 2021, he celebrated the 50th anniversary of his debut, and his legendary live "Niji Densetsu Final" was a great success at the Budokan. This year, at his 70s, he is still running through the national tour, including a live show at Katsushika. Guitar freaks should not miss this show!

On January 13th 1985, Midnight Oil performed the Oils on the Water concert on Goat Island, Sydney, to celebrate radio Triple-J's tenth birthday, before a select crowd of 400 (half competition winners and half staff, media and friends, though other fans swam across). The concert was simulcast live on ABC TV and Triple J radio, released on video, then later remastered as part of the 2004 Best of Both Worlds DVD set. Oils on the Water was a classic Midnight Oil performance and setting with the band in fine high-energy form, caught in the light of the setting sun, against the backdrop of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
