SEVENTEEN POWER OF LOVE : THE MOVIE

On December 11, 2022, Ryuichi Sakamoto's solo piano performance will be streamed in the form of a concert. However, what we will experience that day is carefully recorded footage of Sakamoto performing a few pieces of music each day over the course of a week, that was then thoughtfully edited together. This is last performance.

Live performance video compilation featuring one track from each of the 32 performers at the first annual Blip Festival, held in New York NY in 2006, and curated and organized by 8bitpeoples and The Tank. Companion to the acclaimed documentary film Blip Festival: Reformat The Planet (which premiered at the 2008 SXSW Film Festival), this compilation offers a front-row cross section of the explosive four-day event that showcased the untapped potential of low-bit home computer and game consoles used as creative audio and video tools.

Where We Are: Live from San Siro Stadium features the entire 23 track concert filmed at San Siro Stadium in Milan in June 2014, as well as 24 minutes of bonus content including backstage footage of One Direction and their crew.

Verdi’s masterpiece receives a monumental new staging by David McVicar that marks his 11th Met production, placing him among the most prolific and popular directors in recent Met memory. This live cinema transmission is part of the Met’s award-winning Live in HD series, bringing opera to movie theaters across the globe.

The Sadies Stop and Start captures a moment in time. That time was uncertain and dark. Still reeling from losing Dallas, we found out that Mike needed to have emergency wrist surgery. We needed to play these songs, not knowing if we would ever have the opportunity again. With one day's notice, documentary filmmaker Ron Mann and a stellar crew pulled together to help us capture these songs. Friends and family gathered to help out and show their support. James McKenty engineered in his mobile recording trailer, In Record Time Studio. The resulting film looked and sounded better than we could have hoped. We are thankful to share that Mike's surgery was successful and we are back out on the road and coming to a city near you.

Three years after winning the first season of music competition program "Sing again - Unknown Singer," Lee Seung-yoon has since released two full-length albums and an independent film about him, "Notes from the Unknown". "LEE SEUNG YOON CONCERT DOCKING : LIFTOFF" is a live performance film about the last day of the Seoul performance of Lee Seung-yoon's national tour concert DOCKING in 2023. Whether his fans are still reeling from his last concert or have yet to experience his live performances, this movie will give them a glimpse into his charm as a performer.

Shot at and named after a remote recording studio on a Norwegian island, the footage offers a behind-the-scenes insight into the recording techniques of two of modern progressive music's most talented composers. The content captures Iamthemorning's live set-up from the last three years, with the setlist consisting of songs from their first three studio albums and an unplugged recording of Blue Sea (the first track to be written for the duo's upcoming fourth album and exclusive to the Blu-ray). The studio was designed with panoramic windows that allow the stunning back-drop of Giske Island and the Norwegian Sea to be integrated into the performances (a location that is featured in glorious high-definition on this Blu-ray). Marjana commented, "It was the most inspiring place for us to work in, surrounded by the sea, mountains, wild flowers and gorgeous Norwegian sunsets. All of the natural splendour we don't see that often."

Oscar-winning composer Ryuichi Sakamoto weaves man-made and natural sounds together in his works. His anti-nuclear activism grew after the 2011 Fukushima disaster, and his career only paused after a 2014 cancer diagnosis.
