Hey Guys How Are You?

For those who were young, living under the delusions of love and soft drugs in Paris, May 1968 - even if the guitar is still playing, they can't hear it any longer.

A crew of acclaimed documentarians follow a young budding filmmaker as he attempts to create the world's greatest found footage horror film.

Something is cooking in the town of Grimsville, Ontario. A bunch of wayward youths take on Grimsville High, Squirrely's Pizza and the Moose Meat Ladies with their revolutionary underground grilled cheese sandwich club.

Neil is a painter and graphic designer. On a morning just like any other morning his girlfriend Amanda leaves him and moves out of their house (don't worry, it's a rental.) That morning Neil tries to cope as best he knows how, but in a strange turn of events he ends up shooting back a glass of bleach. He wakes up to suicide watch and court appointed therapy as well as the empty void Amanda left. Now Neil has to decide what he can do to feel better about himself. Should he get Amanda back? Make his old friends like him again? Confront his estranged father? Eat a ton of Chinese food? Or maybe he should just finish his latest goddamned painting. Will he figure it out? Well you better hope so.

The film follows the story of a famous fictional stand-up comedian Manny Lewis, who connects with millions of fans but finds it hard to connect to one person. Manny struggles to overcome his sense of alienation and shyness, and a difficult relationship with his father, in a romantic and feel-good quest for the love of the quirky Maria.

Four students from different backgrounds face new realities of a new life at university. They must adapt to the environment dictated to them in their course in the first year.

Coexistence

After getting fired from his teaching job and dumped by his girlfriend, Jack, a painter, embarks on a soul searching road trip with his dog, Scout. Fourteen years after Third Impact, Shinji Ikari awakens to a world he does not remember. He hasn't aged. The characters' struggles continue amidst the battles against the angels and each other, spiraling down to what could inevitably be the end of the world.

"Beginnings are rare and fleeting. All we are left with in life is a long and unavoidable journey to the end. Describe the burdens you carry with you on this journey." I sent the above prompt to friends and colleagues and asked for any artistic response. I received numerous poems, songs, short stories, etc. I took all of the responses and stitched together the verses, stories, and emotions into a narrative following the protagonist through a day in his life. My goal was to give a snapshot of the mental health of those around me and remind everyone that they are not alone in their sadness.

In a world where suicide requires a permit, a man seeking to end his life meets "Soulbound." To regain his permit, he must spend a day with this enigmatic figure, whose presence stirs forgotten memories, pulling him back toward the fragile echoes of a life he thought he was ready to abandon.
