The Last Stop

A woman who has been watching her next door neighbor for some time develops an intense affection for her neighbor's cat. This love will eventually end in regret.

A character is inside a cubical room; there is a hole in the roof, which is too high to reach. But pushing on the walls distorts the room in various ways, always appearing to bring the hole closer while still leaving it tantalizingly inaccessible.

An artist, surrounded by the mess in her studio, struggles with frustration as she tries to find inspiration for her new painting.

This short film is a diploma of a student of the Higher Art School of Vaclav Gollar. Its main theme is dreams, so the plot immerses the viewer in a fantastic world, devoid of the traditional logic of everyday life. The film uses several typical dream motifs that usually provoke panic in the sleepers. The characters find themselves in uncomfortable situations, and as the story progresses, the drama of the events increases more and more, exacerbating the chaos.

In a "potential" future, the True Purity Act is enacted in the U.S.A. for "societal protection," forcing all declared traitors to be removed from each state and forced into special "rehabilitation" facilities. THIS IS ONE OF THEIR STORIES…
