Shorts, Volume 2 is a compilation release featuring six popular shorts from Mystery Science Theater 3000, including Catching Trouble (Episode #315), What to Do on a Date (Episode #503), Last Clear Chance (Episode #520), A Day at the Fair (Episode #608), Keeping Clean and Neat (Episode #613) and The Days of Our Years (Episode #623).

Nobita and friends decide to make a movie inspired by the space adventures of their heroes, but their fiction turns into a reality.

The story is set in the future when a new threat attacks humans just as they are expanding their presence into space. Now, an enigmatic entity from 17 years ago has been set free, and the name of the entity is Justeen.

Lord Raider and an endearing little robot companion reside in the far-off realm of Planet Carrotland. As fate would have it, a cosmic spark from the radiant Pulsar star strikes the robot just as he becomes smitten with Princess Mimi, a charming pink bunny. However, their newfound love faces a significant obstacle when the king decrees a grand tournament in the kingdom, intent on determining who shall earn the honor of marrying the Princess.

Ermus Daglek, retired Empathtek engineer, commandeers a defunct factory where he creates androids based on persons from his past and recreates a dinner party where he lost the love of his life - until they malfunction and escape.

Hayri, the youngest person who went to space, became quite famous and was accepted to the Science and Technology School. He now spends very little time in the neighborhood and spends most of his time on the giant robot Hayrimatör, the “Invention of the Century” as he calls it. Even though he designed and called it as an engineering marvel, Hayri could not manage to obtain the power source to run the Hayrimatör. With the support of our alien hero Zobi, Hayri manages to make the Hayrimatör work, but the villains go after the invention. This time, Rafadan Tayfa will team up to rescue Hayrimatör, who has been driven out of control by the Agent and his men.

When a four-man terrorist group known as Team Phantom begins raising havoc in downtown Tokyo, the city is in desperate need of a hero. An unexpected champion appears in the form of Lady Battle Cop, a former female tennis champion who has been transformed into a seemingly unstoppable cyborg.

A mysterious protagonist is on a quest worth spending 150 years playing chess to unlock, and Sarajevo, now called Neosarayevo, is under the control of a sinister Cyberdyne-esque corporation - Sodyn.

When marine wildlife has to adapt to the pollution surrounding it, the rules of survival change.

A family purchases a home robot designed to look like a grandmum. Their neighbours immediately buy a more expensivve model as the two families always try to up the other one. Both grandmums start to "terorize" their families because they were set up to ensure the mums exercise, the kids study etc. Apart from that they start causing problems to the other family ... cut ropes with hanging clothes, pierced tires, etc. Once they get to killing each other family's pets the parents get really worried about the safety of their kids. The grannys later destroy each other while fighting and the families decide that they'll be better off without any robots. (It's some time since I saw this so the details may be off.) Mainly thanks to the design of the robots it's rather a comedy than a horror. Unless you are ten. And a rather good comedy!
