The barbaloots are told by the Once-Ler that they can sit on the wagon and that it had better not move. They and the donkey nod in agreement. The barbaloots try to get the donkey to move. He won't move. The small barbaloot taunts the donkey with what looks like an apple in front of him on a long pole the he's off. Did they get the wagon back in time? Yes, but what transpired from start to finish?

When exiting from the room with memories, a picture of the Anemone that YOU painted is displayed in YOUR new room.

Mohsen lives with his sister Aida and her husband Ezzat. After he graduated from the university, his colleague Najwa urges Mohsen to look for work so that they can get married. Ezzat tries to help Mohsen get a job but Mohsen fails in every job.

The Queen Bee, Honeyflower is placed under a spell by One Sting Maude, a witch from the tsetse family, jealous of the Queen Bee’s beauty. Bzz, the Bee-guide enlists the help of Joe to help save the Queen. He is given an injection to shrink him to the size of an insect and enters the parlor of the sleeping beauty, Honeyflower.

The story is set in a village in the southern Japanese prefecture of Kōchi during World War II. Even in this remote mountainous area, the perception of American and British people as "brutes" has taken root, due to the deaths and injuries among the villagers' relatives. A elementary schoolgirl named Eiko transfers from the city of Yokohama to this village. Eiko happens to have blue eyes from her American father, and her classmates make no attempt to rein in their bullying. Other than Eiko's homeroom teacher Akiko, even the teachers view Eiko the same way that the children do. However, a boy named Kenta views Eiko more with curiosity than with hostility. The children's lives change as the injured father of one of Kenta's classmates returns from the battlefield and news of more casualties arrives in the village.
