A comedy about a working class Chicago couple who find love at an Overeaters Anonymous meeting.

This romantic-comedy anthology series features three loosely connected, modern stories of love and dating. The series is anchored by the stories of Annie and Colleen, the last two single women remaining after all of their friends get married. Other romantically challenged characters come and go each week.

Aoi Miura was born and grew up in Toyama Prefecture. He has an indecisive personality and does not like summer. He was the focal member of the high school swimming team, but he now works as an assistant at a small architectural office in Tokyo. One summer day, he meets his childhood friend and first love, Akari Serizawa. During their school days they spent every day hanging out together until the fireworks night in their third year of high school. That night, Akari suddenly disappeared. Now, Akari has a man named Aoi.

An exciting story takes place in the 90s about the Xiaoji Neighborhood and the different generations of people supporting and growing together. They learn about family, friendship and love even if they have just a common and trivial life.

Throughout their "opportunistic" friendship, feelings bloom between the two as they are always there for each other. Not only do they make friends, but they also make their own dreams and goals come true in the end.
