Sakuraba Haruma's childhood friend Inukai Shuji was a cut above him in every way imaginable, living out the glamorous life bestowed upon him. The new employee Kazuma, who returned to Tokyo from America, reunites with his close friend from middle school, Ren, who is currently working as the top designer at their company. It is their first meeting since the abrupt farewell during their third year in middle school, 10 years ago. Ren was his best friend and his first love. He is as strong and good-looking as ever… And Kazuma is happy just being with him. However, Ren avoids the subject of their time in middle school rather unnaturally and acts like a friendly former-classmate… But he’s behaving this way because he is gay, and above all, fears being rejected by Kazuma. An adventure begins with a mistaken identity after a nobody pretends to be the illegitimate daughter of the Murong family. The soap opera follows the story of young Aurélia Camargo (Norma Blum), a girl who falls in love with the ambitious young journalist Fernando Seixas (Cláudio Marzo), who also falls in love with her, but rejects her when he receives an invitation to marry Adelaide (Fátima Freire), the daughter of Tavares do Amaral (Felipe Wagner), a wealthy banker. Feeling abandoned by her great love, Aurélia dreams of one day having him back. Until, when she turns 18, she is surprised with an inheritance from her grandfather, and becomes a very rich woman, allowing her to create her own rules for her life. However, for the society of the time, it was not good form for a woman to enjoy such independence. For this reason, Aurélia begins to rely on a distant relative, Dona Firmina Mascarenhas (Zilka Sallaberry), to act as her mother, and on the administrator Mr. Lemos (Alberto Perez), to guide her in business. So, she sees a great opportunity to have Fernando in her life again.

She doesn't want to stay and attempts to runaway. Luang decides to move her to Siracha, and appoints her aunt Penlak as her guardian. Songklot is a future doctor. He was called home by his mother in hopes that he will marry the woman she chooses for him. Songklot is unable to tolerate this, so he runs away to Songkrit's, his older brother. He meets Kratai, the mischievous girl 15 years younger than him who lives around there. He falls in love with her aunt Penlak at first sight. He offers to be Kratai's tutor so he can court her aunt. Meanwhile, Songklot and Kratai develop a close friendship.

Nishina, Maya, Shiro, and Aoi are four good friends in their second year of high school with good looks but disappointing personalities. The four who decided that they will never fall in love, formed their own club, known as the "Muda-bu" (Useless Club), which focuses on researching silly themes and uploading them on social media. One day, they decided to do an experiment from a manga that says, "If you run with a piece of bread in your mouth and bump into someone, you will fall in love". While trying to conduct the experiment, they accidentally bumped into someone while having a piece of bread in the mouth.

Alon Shenhav, an outstanding detective officer who grow up in Nahariya and moved to Tel Aviv-Yafo, is asked to return to his hometown and serve as a detective officer for a year. Upon his return, he discovers that Maor Ezra runs a local crime organization that is terrorising in the city. Alon understands that in order to take Ezra down, he must first restore the public status of the police in the city.

Jung-Ah is a new office worker and its crush-at-first-sight when she meets Manager Lee. She wonders, "Am I the only one with butterflies?"
