The Prisoner is a 2009 television miniseries based on the 1960s TV series The Prisoner about a man who awakens in a mysterious, picturesque village from which there is no escape and wonders who made the village and why.

Set in 2151 and 2152, it follows the crew of HMS Camden Lock as they stumble through their heroic mission to protect British interests in a changing galaxy.

Following mysterious bright lights in the sky, the human race is rendered blind and helpless. The survivors find themselves stalked by sentient flesh-eating plants.

The Tribe is a New Zealand/British post-apocalyptic fictional TV series primarily aimed at teenagers. The show's focus is on an unnamed city inhabited by tribes of children and teenagers. It was primarily filmed in and around Wellington, New Zealand. Valemont is a supernatural American television miniseries on MTV that premiered on September 21, 2009. Two episodes premiered on Tuesdays during The Hills and The City. For six consecutive weeks, two and a half minute episodes of Valemont premiered in the commercial pods directly preceding The Hills and following The City. The concluding 23 episodes of the series were made available online at MTV.com and on V Cast Video from Verizon Wireless, along with other bonus footage.
