After discovering a dead body in the National Museum, Inspector Edib and Mido are called to the crime scene. But the disappearance of the body and the hidden motives of the Museum lead them to a web of corruption and international crime.

A year and a half after a strong earthquake and the pandemic starting, tenants from the damaged old city center move to the outskirts of the city. Tensions rise between people irritated by their own differences and by change.

The series features twenty-four stories from the New Testament, including many of the parables of Jesus, the story of his birth, death and resurrection. The series concludes with two episodes about Paul the Apostle and his missionary journeys.
