A pawnbroker's assistant deals with his grumpy boss, his annoying co-worker and some eccentric customers as he flirts with the pawnbroker's daughter, until a perfidious crook with bad intentions arrives at the pawnshop.

Unico then is determined to cheer her up, cure her, and destroy the nearby factory.

Alice hunts a lion who proves to be too much for her to handle, but Julius bravely comes to the rescue.
