Tattooed hands gently glide over a rock face, probing it with the tips of the fingers. Three women, arms raised to a high boulder, appear to be in prayer. Hidden in a cave, two others stare at their bloody palms. Touching Rocks depicts bouldering as a pagan ritual.

A glimpse into the life of the grass snake.

On a humid summer night in the middle of monsoon season, a drug-addicted woman sits alone in a dark room and injects herself with a syringe. A sudden crash of thunder startles her, and the syringe slips from her hand. As she reaches down to retrieve it, she happens to glance toward the apartment building across the way. There, a figure stands watching.

The motif in this animation is the memories of my dog which lived 17 years.

This animation was based on a scene I dreamt, where white smoke was rising from a bed. I was influenced by one of Zhuangzi’s thought, The butterfly dream, and visualized the contrast between dream and reality. While I was creating this piece, I was never aware of whom the man sleeping in the movie was, but somehow, he ended up looking just like my grandfather.

Animation film based on fieldwork in Bali, Indonesia, and rituals filmed there. Of the hundreds of rituals known to exist in Bali as 'Sangyan', the film takes as its motif the beautiful ritual 'Sangyan Dudari', which is said to be the most effective in exorcising demons.

One day, during her lunch break, she goes into the forest to fill her cup of water in a river. There, a poor old lady asks for alms from the young lady, having nothing but her little piece of bread, willingly offers it to her. It is then that the old lady, as a reward, enchants the cup of the little girl ...
