Set in 1970’s Derry, violence is rife, bombs can be heard in the distance and the army patrols the streets where Majella and her friends play.

Since Johnny Mack Brown is about the only person in the film that even looks like he could play football other than Johnny and stuntman Joe Bonomo, it’s doubtful that the team Harron put together could even beat the Our Gang football team!
