Nice looking Travelogue takes us to the Northeast corner of Wyoming as we visit Yellowstone National Park.

Edited in a way that mocked the trends of Youtube vlogging and apology-videos of the time, including sound effects and interjected fast-moving graphics. "After QnWF-société received an overwhelming amount of negative feedback following the launch of their 'Death To Straight White Men 2017' clothing brand, their CEO felt the need to create an apology video of sorts - explaining and defending the concepts behind their latest line of clothing."

What begins as a spatially abstract, weightless situation transforms into a mediation of geography, culture, and history. Filmed transcontinentally between Singapore and The Netherlands, Control emphasizes the idiosyncratic texture of a common, fragmented consciousness.

The first part of the film shows parallels between Christianity and Marxism. The second part describes the influence of both the Judeo-Christian background and that of other religious critics on Marx's position as a critic of religion. Beyond the well-known facts, this documentary not only analyzes the historical background of Karl Marx's life and work, but also deals in particular with his personal relationship to Christianity.

"Encouraged by a special encounter between myself and an animal, my research into the “humanimal” began. The research spans from topics like the cohabitation of different human species, the prehuman, the posthuman, to domestication and the numerous animal watching webcams found in zoos and online. Missing Link reflects on the intimacy between the species and how it can be expressed through movement here and now. "

Little Climbing Trip

Latest installment from the on-going collaboration between filmmaker Paul Clipson & musician Jefre Cantu-Ledesma. Paul's Super8 films, shot entirely in New York City, channel the blissed out states of color drenched psychadellia explored by Brakage as well as lovely black and white still life's that reminisce on Ozu's 'pillow shots' & Chantel Akermans monumental portrait of Pre-Giuliani New York 'Letters Home'. Jefre's music is culled from the same sessions that launched his 2007 release on Students Of Decay 'Shinning Skull Breath', (the two share a track in common). Billowy clouds of distorted guitar expand out into long passages of muffled static and fuzzed out melody.

It adroitly tells the story of a "counter culture" young man who when his grandfather dies, packs the body in dry ice, and stores him in a Tuff Shed, waiting for the time when advances in modern medicine can bring him back to life. I am not making this up. Then our young men gets deported back to Norway on unrelated charges. Then, quite a while later, people look up and take notice ... "Hey ... there appears to be a frozen dead guy in that shed over there."

"Water reflections are never static, its fluid form constantly plays with the light in new and totally unique ways. Trying to capture this process naturally leads to an imperfect representation. Embracing this, ‘a puddle of water held in shape by my thoughts’ plays with the materiality of the digital image with the border between digital grain and the movement of the water constantly blurring. This ongoing research project consists of clips recorded over the last two years. - During the Leaving Space exhibition (2024) the work was presented as an installation using an old LCD screen, a wash-stool and other spacial elements. The space where the screen was installed could only be observed from the outside through the glass doors but not entered.
