Acústico MTV é o álbum acústico da banda brasileira Capital Inicial, lançado em formato CD e DVD. Ele faz parte da série Acústico MTV da emissora MTV Brasil. Foi lançado em 2000. O álbum fez grande sucesso e emplacou seis músicas nas paradas musicais (Tudo Que Vai, Primeiros Erros, Natasha, Cai a Noite, Independência e Fogo), consagrando o ressurgimento estrondoso da banda, que teve início no álbum Atrás dos Olhos, lançado em 1998. Os convidados especiais para esta performance foram: Kiko Zambianchi (que, em nota, afirmou à Revista MTV que fora convidado porque "ninguém na banda sabia tocar violão") e Zélia Duncan.

The acoustic album of the Brazilian band Charlie Brown Jr. broadcast on MTV Brazil. The album contains interviews with the band and the making-of video recording, and features music known to the public, along with new songs "Vícios e Virtudes" and "Não Uso Sapato". The concert, which was recorded in São Paulo, with the participation of special guests. Marcelo Nova, Negra Li, the group RZO Marcelo D2 and sang with the Acoustic whiner. The repertoire some recordings of other composers, such as "Samba Makossa" (Chico Science, with special participation of Marcelo D2), "Hoje" (Marcelo Nova), with participation of the artist himself and "Oba Lá Vem Ela" (Jorge Ben Jor).

Também, não é pra menos: desde o final dos anos 70 na estrada, o músico vem arrebentando com diversas músicas, como "Tempos Modernos", "Como Uma Onda" e "Toda Forma de Amor". Além desses e outros sucesso, o DVD traz também 5 músicas inéditas.

MTV Unplugged is a 1993 live album by 10,000 Maniacs. The music was recorded for the MTV Unplugged series and it was also the last album by the band featuring Natalie Merchant as vocalist. In addition to the songs released on this album, four takes of "How You've Grown" were recorded, second takes of "Because the Night" and "Gold Rush Brides", a brief take of "Puff the Magic Dragon" and three other songs which featured singer David Byrne as a guest: "Let The Mystery Be" (two takes, one of which was released as a B-Side to "Few and Far Between" and on Campfire Songs: The Popular, Obscure and Unknown Recordings), "Jolene", and "Dallas". In 1994, it reached 13 on the Billboard 200.

MTV Unplugged is a DVD, released in 2002 by the band Staind. The DVD's main feature is Staind's unplugged performance, recorded at MTV studios at Times Square, New York. The show was recorded just before the band's third album, Break the Cycle, was released. The show was unique as it showcased how many of Staind's heavier songs suit the acoustic format. Of special note is the song "Can't Believe", (one of the heaviest songs found on Break the Cycle) a song full of heavy guitar riffs and loud screaming has now been turned into a quiet, melodic song full of sorrow. The unplugged show was so successful that Staind decided to use the acoustic format more often. While touring the 14 Shades of Grey album, Staind would often switch from an electric format to acoustic format. Aaron Lewis (Staind's vocalist and rhythm guitarist) also ventured on a small amount of solo shows, with only his acoustic guitar.

The consummate hard rock quartet of Bret Michaels, Bobby Dall, Rikki Rockett and C.C. DeVille get back to basics with acoustic renditions of "Talk Dirty To Me" from their first album and "Look What The Cat Dragged In", "Your Mama Don't Dance" and "Every Rose Has A Thorn" from their second release plus "Open Up And Say ... Multi-talented singer/songwriter/musician Lenny Kravitz taped this Unplugged special for MTV in April of 1994. Kravitz performs material from his release Are You Gonna Go My Way and his previous album, Mama Said. Selections included "Are You Gonna Go My Way," "Let Love Rule," "Always on the Run" and "Believe." Lenny was supported by the Washington Temple Concert Choir. Invisible Touch Tour is a live video by the English rock band Genesis, released in 1988 on Virgin Music Video. It was the first concert ever shot in High Definition and cameras and lenses had to be flown in from the USA and Japan. It was directed by Jim Yukich and produced by Paul Flattery of FYI. It was edited at the band's facilities known as The Farm by Jerry Behrens and David Foster. It documents the band's four sold out shows at Wembley Stadium in London between 1–4 July 1987 at the end of their Invisible Touch Tour promoting their thirteenth studio album, Invisible Touch. A limited edition release included a CD single containing the live version of "Domino" as performed on the video. In 2003, the video was reissued on DVD and renamed Genesis Live at Wembley Stadium.
