Cosmos

Three astronomers accidentally intercept what they believe to be a signal from a distant alien civilization, but the truth is even more incredible than any of them could have imagined.

Despite a small crew of only about a dozen people, the film is not bad. The acting is great all around, the cinematography works effectively within cramped spaces, and the writing and its reveals are well done.
