A Japanese intelligence officer faces personal crises in the years preceding the Manchurian conflict.

A deep mist envelops the port city of Yokohama. The scent of crime is everywhere. As an executive member of a drug trafficking syndicate, Kano is pretty high up in the food chain, but "status" bears no value to him. All he cares for is Ayako, the boss' mistress. The movie is called 14 Millions Screams because 14 millions young girls are forced to be married every year. As of today 700 Million women were married before the age of 15. I hope that with this movie everybody can imagine their own children and realize how those screams are not bearable anymore.
