Takeru Tenkuuji, the son of a ghost hunter, is murdered by the evil Ganma and resurrected by a mysterious hermit and bestowns upon him the Ghost Driver and a Ghost Eyecon, an orb-shaped device which can see ghostly creatures like spirits of dead creatures, Ganma, and other Riders. The hermit tells Takeru that he has 99 days to gather 15 additional heroic Eyecons to be brought back to life permanently, and must fight the Ganma as Kamen Rider Ghost to obtain them.

In a multidimensional domain, Poon Siu-yu enters the second dimension after her death in the first dimension, i.e. the mortal realm. She then joins Office of the Life Authority and becomes a novice “destiny administrator”. Siu-yu has to keep a close watch on food courier Chan Pei-ho, who is in the mortal realm. Pei-ho earns a meager living regardless of the weather. But his family members just do not care about him. He is already overwhelmed by life pressures, and he is also jinxed by “bad spirit” Siu-yu while doing his job. Siu-yu gradually sympathizes with Pei-ho. Meanwhile, Pei-ho also realizes this mysterious girl has covertly helped him a lot. The duo then even recklessly start a romantic relationship that is probably going to have no future.

Can this trio put an end to the violence and ghoulish terror that has the city in its grips?

Go Mi Rim agrees to take care of the cat owned by her one-sided love interest, but she starts to hear the cat’s voice after being hit by lightning, setting up the plot for an interesting romance to unfold.
