Following on from the earlier series 'Trawlermen', documentary series `Trawlermen: Hunting the Catch' follows fishermen around the clock as they embark on deep-sea fishing trips. From Shetland to Cornwall, and from the North Sea to the English Channel, cameras follow fisherman as they traverse 300,000 square miles of ocean. Each episode follows a different British fishing boat over the course of a single week as they battle the elements and hunt for a catch that will pay off for the skipper and the crew.

A search and rescue department specializes in finding loved ones lost during a war, natural disaster or relocation. The paranoid and skeptical Hong Yu-Fung, the optimistic and energetic Sze Yik-Him, the eloquent Crystal Sin, and computer expert Yeung Chi-Kei are led by a calm and rational team leader Lo Man-Kit to start their experience of searching and rescuing people. Not only do they find happiness in their work, but they also go through a whole new experience of how they see themselves.

This one hour drama follows the search and rescue (SAR) team of the Canadian Coast Guard. The crew of the MLB Cape Pacific is lead by Captain Miro DaSilva and its First Mate Laura Nelson. The crew is rounded out by Coast guard rescue swimmers Andrew Vanderlee and Carly Greig.

The plot follows detectives Karl Roebuck and Elise Wasserman working together to find a serial killer who left the upper-half body of a French politician and the lower-half of a British prostitute in the Channel Tunnel, at the midpoint between France and the UK. They later learn that the killer—who comes to be nicknamed the "Truth Terrorist"—is on a moral crusade to highlight many social problems, terrorising both countries in the process

The program was produced by Triage Entertainment for the Fox Family Channel, which is now ABC Family and owns the rights to the show.
